![]() It's a palpable mood, enhanced by sheer scale and verticality, a world of massive planetoids suspended in space, clinging to each other via clouds or thin rails. The world feels ephemeral, doomed to be washed away. Even the collectibles, plasma, are rendered as blobs of liquid. It's delightfully tactile, Rei landing in candy floss-like hills and pulling sticky mass behind her as she jumps. ![]() Inside this black hole is a dreamlike landscape rendered in soft clouds and goopy surfaces, all of it in bold colours. Since we are unable to play the game up until this point we do not have much evidence to weigh it from, but rather how excited we are for the game based on what we have heard and seen so far.You play as Rei, a voidrunner who plunges herself into a blackhole to activate a macguffin-the Starseed-which we're told can save her planet, currently caught in the singularity's grasp. We often like to include a personal rating for all of the games we discuss, but as you may have noticed this game has yet to be released. Whether it is simply a technology limitation or a preference from the company, it is not something that Heart Machine has announced yet. Unfortunately it appears that this game will not be available for Xbox players and we are not quite sure as to the reasoning behind this decision. What Platforms Will the Game Be On?įor now the consoles that the game will be on are still unknown for sure, but we suspect it will be available on Windows and both PlayStation consoles. ![]() This 3D universe also includes a third person view of your character, to further add to the feeling of you being in the game. This also makes the players feel as if they are more a part of the game than when it was previously 2D.
